All applications will be assessed on individual merit and will take into account your personal statement and work experience as well as academic qualifications. This helps to ensure that we attract the best and brightest students regardless of background. 

We accept a wide range of academic qualifications and understand that not all students will have traditional qualifications. Students who do not meet the formal entry requirements are encouraged to apply and will be invited to attend an interview.

Al-Maktoum College summer and short courses
These programmes may be used as a pathway to apply to study on the Certificate in Arabic Language. You will however, be required to sit an entry test before being accepted onto the programme. This is due to there being no formal tests or exams included in the intensive programmes (summer school/language & culture).
 
Interviews

Students may be interviewed as part of the application process. We will contact you by email and provide details of how to attend the interview, either taking place face-to-face in the College or virtually using Microsoft Teams or Zoom.  

Recognition of prior learning (RPL)

Qualifications from other educational institutions may be accepted; based on number of hours, levels, date of qualification/certificate. Email admissions@almcollege.ac.uk for more information
