Beginners
The Introductory Certificate in Arabic Language for complete beginners develops your listening, writing, speaking and reading skills to enable you to engage in basic conversation such as booking tickets, ordering food, greetings and more. By the end of this course you will be at level A2 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The full-time fee is £750
Arabic Evening classes allow students to learn the basics of the language in a fun and relaxed setting. The classes are taught over a period 10 weeks and students will obtain a certificate of completion from the College.
Fees for this course are £60 (concessionary rate available)
Intermediate
The Certificate in Arabic Language is for students at level A2 looking to progress to B2 (intermediate Arabic). You will gain good command of the language at intermediate level used in everyday social conversations, current affairs and job-related situations. The course includes cultural and historical themes that provide students with an insight into the history of the Arabic speaking countries and surrounding region.
The full-time fee is £1,650
Advanced
The Diploma in Arabic Language is for students at level B2 and by the end of this course you will be able to communicate in Arabic at level C1. You will develop linguistic and cognitive skills to become an independent Arabic speaker for professional and personal enrichment.
Timings
Full-time Arabic Language courses will be taught over 8-10 hours over 3 days, and the part-time course over 3-5 hours over 2 evenings.
Evening classes take place on Tuesday evenings from 18.00-20.00
