Students participating in Al-Maktoum College’s Summer School, have attended significant leadership training with local industry experts.
Alison Henderson, CEO of Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce, led the interactive workshops today and encouraged students to discuss leadership skills, focusing on the importance of leadership qualities and attributes.
A panel of Senior Leaders, from different sectors, shared their personal leadership experiences with the students, through a series of group discussions and café conversations.
Keynote speaker and Member of the Scottish Parliament, Shona Robison, later joined the workshop sessions for further conversation. Ms Robison also gave students the opportunity to share their own experiences and ask questions.
As the first week of the Summer School Programmes draws to a close, students look forward to a further 3 weeks of lectures, workshops and excursions to wider parts of Scotland and the UK.
