As Head of Operations at Al Maktoum College, Benjamin is engaged in driving organisational efficiency, optimising processes, and leading the diverse, dedicated and professional administration team. With a focus on operational excellence, He has successfully implemented innovative solutions to address complex issues in education.
Benjamin’s educational journey began at the University of Leicester where he followed his interest in languages, receiving an MA in Applied Linguistics he embarked on a career in higher education abroad. Driven by a commitment to holistic education, Benjamin furthered his academic pursuits by obtaining a second master’s degree from Birmingham Newman University. This time, his focus expanded to encompass Sustainable Development and Islamic Studies. This dual expertise reflects not only his academic versatility, but also his dedication to interdisciplinary approaches that address the complex challenges of our globalised world.
Beyond his administrative role, Benjamin remains actively engaged in fostering an environment that nurtures intellectual curiosity, cultural diversity and a commitment to sustainability. His background in linguistics and sustainability are the catalyst for innovation, bringing a unique perspective to the forefront of Al Maktoum College’s initiatives.
