The 2018 Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education Summer School Concluding Ceremony for the 72 students taking part was held today (Monday, July 9).
This was the 26th such programme since the first ever Summer School in 2003 and the biggest ever group of overseas female students to visit the College.
The students, from 17 different institutions learned about Scotland, its people, its history, culture and traditions in the contemporary world over the past three weeks.
Now the students head for Paris to complete their trip.
The students come from Abu Dhabi University; Abu Dhabi Police College; American University in Dubai; American University of Sharjah; British University in Dubai; Cairo University; College of Islamic and Arabic Studies; Emirates National Oil Company; University of Fujairah; Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University; Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance; Higher Colleges of Technology; University of Malaya; Paris-Sorbonne Abu Dhabi University; University of Sharjah; UAE University and Zayed University.
